Peace Curling Tour General Meeting

Congratulations to Team Jordan Steinke (Dawson Creek Curling Club), Optimist Juvenile Boys Provincial Champions. Jordan Steinke (skip), Jason Ginter (third), Tristan Steinke (second), Sanjay Bowry (lead) and Jeff Ginter (coach) will represent Alberta at the Juvenile International in Regina March 31 - April 4, 2010.

The PCA will be represented by Jeff MacPheat of Valleyview and Graham Powell of Sexsmith at the 2011 Investor's Group Cup Alberta Mixed Provincials. Team Powell will attempt to successfully defend the provincial title they won one year ago. Sylvan Lake will host the championship March 31 - April 4, 2010.

Congratulations to team Norma Huitt for their runner up finish at the Alberta Senior Provincials presented by The Dominion. Well done!!! Congratulations also go to Bernie Poloz and his master men's team for their runner-up finish at the Alberta Master Men's Provincial Championship.

Congratulations to Team Devin Burkitt of Hudson's Hope - winners of the PCA Juvenile Super League. Thank you to coordinator Jeff Henricks for all his time and energy!

The Pomeroy Inn & Suites Peace Curling Tour held its tour championship this past weekend in Sexsmith. Winners were: Kurt Balderston - Sun Life Financial Competitive Division, James Buehler - Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipelines Challenge Division and Dillon Dewald - Canwest Group Benefits Division.
