Sweeping Changes PDF Print

Some significant changes (CCA and ACF) that will impact competitive curlers of all ages (in PCA):

Junior eligibility has decreased by ½ a year (as in the cut-off date)

No age restrictions on Men’s, Ladies and Mixed curling going forward

Juveniles is now U-18 and the cut-off date is: under 18 as of June 30th, 2015 (for this season)

Competitive teams (in men's and ladies only) are allowed one free agent, from anywhere in Canada – to compete on the district/provincial/national stage.

And some clothing changes, for competitive players providing more options for sponsorship and individualities.  As in, outfits must match – however, no longer have to be black pants.  #Numbers# allowed on backs, sponsorship on brooms and bags as well.  And increase in exposure on jackets.
